Topics of Discussion:

·         Newt gave an interesting and information presentation about eels; his long history with them, how he caught them, and how the tradition has continued.

·         We honored Drew Comanda as Student of the Month.

 

New Business:

 

• Rotary’s theme for 2009-2010 is “Rotary is in your HANDS.”
• Bill Gates will be giving an additional $250 million for polio eradication.
• Center Moriches High School on Feb 4^th will be having a career day. 10th to 12^th graders will be participating and listening to people in the community discuss their career. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Emily Sloane at esloane@cmschools.org

• We did the sergeants report, Foundation, and the 50/50. Sergeants-$110. 50/50-$31. (Jim  won)  Foundation-$18.
