MORICHES ROTARY OF NY

the meeting was brought to order at 6:35 by President Steve with the pledge, song and a Prayer by Secretary Joanne. The following members were present: Barbara, Muriel, Julie, Peter, Bob Dovale, Tom, Susan, Bob Walker Jr., Jim , Treasurer Rich, President Steve, Secretary Joanne. The following guests were also present: Forrest Dunbar from Rocky Point Rotary and transferring Rotarians Peggy and Helmut Albrecht from Pittsford, NY and Susan Tew (Jim Murphy)

Our next meeting will be on Friday night January 11th 2008 at 6:30 PM at Ladikins. (not Thursday Night) We will be honoring the Moriches Paquatuck Squaws for the great job they do raising funds for our Camp. Guests are very welcome so bring your husband or wife or significant other to this meeting. All Club members are expected to be there, If can't attend you must call President Steve at 878 - 1200 ext. 13. The Dinner will be $25.00 per person. It will be a buffet.

On January 17th we will have a guest speaker, Muriel advised us.

We had the 50/50, foundation, and sergeants report.

The Eastport -South Manor Interact Club along with our help will run a Stuff-a-bus at the King Kullen in Manorville on February 9th . We need the students to make a sign for both sides of the bus so people will know who is running this. Also some flyers. We will have a sign up sheet at the Jan. 17th meeting. We need 2 to 3 members for 2 hour periods along with the interact members from 9 to 3 PM.

Barbara read a card from the family we helped at Christmas, Thanking us for all the gifts etc. Barbara had gotten their names from the bakery. It was a mother with 5 children. Thank you Barbara for all your work and shopping etc. Etc. being we don't know how much you donated yourself. You are a very great Lady with a wonderful heart. WE in the Rotary Club want to thank you.

DON'T FORGET OUR NEXT MEETING IS FRIDAY NIGHT JANUARY 11TH 6:30 PM AT LADIKINS. $25.00 PER PERSON. WE NEED MEMBERS TO ATTEND. YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING GUESTS.
