-
Oktoberfest. Peter did an amazing job. He
had many sleepless nights. We had 2 of the 3 days. We 15 hours of the
Oktoberfest. Sunday was a wash-out. We need to brainstorm ways to not
let the weather stop us. Next year we would like sponsors to help out
with the costs.
-
The Fucco golf event was a good showing.
They were very happy with our participation.
-
We are going to raffle off a Wii this year
rather than a basket of toys. Raffle date is December 10th.
-
Next stuff a bus is on Saturday, November
7th.
-
Laura and Christopher will be the
committee for the Spaghetti Dinner. We are thinking Friday, April 16th.
-
Spooky walk is coming up. Bob will be
passing around a sign up sheet. Bob would like us to volunteer at
least one night.
-
We are no longer sponsoring the autism
swims. This project will be transitioning from our club.
-
Barbara and Muriel went to Center Moriches
High School to induct new Interact members. The interact students like
to see Rotarians at the meetings.
-
Janice suggested that both Eastport and
Center Moriches interact students get together to make a float for the
parade of lights.
-
Rotary Leadership Institute is coming up
on Saturday, October 3rd. Bob will email the club information about
the day. If you have not gone, it is worthwhile. It’s $95 a person.

Old Business:

nice showing from the club.
-

news that you want in, please send it to Tom.
