Steve were all present plus Garry, Newt, Janice, Bob D., Betsy, Muriel, Lou, Barbara, Deborah, Pete, Bill, Roy, Tom, Werner, Susan, & Cheryl. Plus we had guests and more guests as follows: Krystyna Dyshlova from the Ukraine, Valeria Rifelfrom Venezuela, our exchange student Melina Rodriguez -Paniggua from Costa Rica, Bob & Nancy Knotoff from Westhampton Rotary, Bill Dalton, the camp and Westhampton Rotary Club, Paul Haines from Westhampton Club, Jim Murphy, Tom Chiffo friend & guest. Student of the month Tom Raynor and his Mom Laura & brother Adam.  All together there were 31 people all jammed into the smaller room at Sea Cove.  It was nice to have so many in attendance.  Let's keep it up.

I gave out 3 makeup cards before the meeting got started. ( I would be happy to do this every week)

All the dues have finally been paid.  Thanks to all of you.

The 50/50 was won by two members Muriel & Barbara - they picked the King of Diamonds.

Joe Maag has finally got an E -Mail address.  I will add him on next week, had some computer trouble tonight,  Hope I straightened it out.

Don't forget to fill out your application for the Youth Exchange Volunteer information affidavit & Mail it along with $6.00 check to:

Essex CBC

151 Marquis Dr.

Coatsville, Pa. 19320

The Student of the month was Tom Raynor as I mentioned and he received a certificate from our club.  We are waiting for the frames to come in and will give it to Janice to give to Tom when they arrive. He is a very nice young man who is president of the Interact Club of Center Moriches School.  He told us about their Interact Club adopting a Troop in Iraque, and that they send them things like Gold bond Foot powder for their boots etc.  So Muriel is going to get them a case to ship and they also needed funds to mail each troop member a T shirt - The Shirts cost $459.00 so the Sergeant's report raised that much tonight with Paul doing the collecting.  So Tom Raynor had a very successful evening at our club.

Next week Ed Wesche will do his Bio.

The Program on Oct. 26th will be Michael Fox who went to Brazil as an exchange student and he will talk about his experiences.

President Bob passed around a sign up sheet for the Spooky Walk parking lot for the 4 nights. I will list them.
