New Business:

• Bon reported that Pauline is home with her family. She does want to come back and details to follow whether that will be possible or not. Thanks for Bob and Rob for stepping up and taking such good care of the situation. Bob also thanked Thad Marsch.
• Pauline’s mailing address is Chaussee de Verviers 151 Theux Liege, Belguim 4910.  Her email address is Pauline_warroquiers@hotmail.com
• Muriel got word from Marion that the district will be paying for our dictionaries through a simplified grant.
• Muriel spoke about the donation for Rotary International and it is optional. It is not mandatory; it is voluntary. Muriel has sent in what she has received so far. If you want to make a contribution, you can give a check to Muriel or you can contribute at http://www.rotary.org/en/Contribute/Pages/ridefault.aspx
• Surgery was performed on the 10,000th gift of life recipient. The little boy’s surgery was successful and he will (hopefully) live to be a very old man.
• Muriel sent around a sign up sheet for the spooky walk. Food tent volunteers, please be there by 6:30pm. Parking be there at 5:30pm. You cannot park at the camp. We have only one lot and it will fill up quickly. If you do get into the lot, you will not be able to get your car until 11pm.

·         We did the sergeants report, Foundation, and the 50/50. Sergeants-$140. 50/50-$22. (Muriel won)  Foundation-$17.

Old Business: 

• Past club presidents (Steve, Julie & Kevin) will be the election committee for the incoming offices for next year. Report please to the club on November 13^th.

·         If you have made up a meeting or attended another Rotary event, please let Deborah know so she can mark you as attending a meeting. 

Speaker & Topic:

·         Hans stopped by Julie’s bank and said he could not make the meeting. We collected many items from club members (thanks to all) and Julie will give the items to Hans for the troops.

·         We honored Brooke Wesche as the October Student of the Month.

·         District Governor’s visit to our club October 23^rd.

·         Spooky Walk. (4 nights) October 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th at Camp Pa Qua Tuck.

·         Stuff a Bus-November 1st.

·         Stuff a Bus-December 6^th.

·         Holiday party for the Kids-Sunday, December 14^th noon to 4pm.

·         Holiday party for our members-Thursday, December 18^th.
