The meeting was called to order by President Bob and present was 16 members: Garry, Barbara, Julie, Newt, Muriel, Guy (who we were very happy to see after his illness, & who we will keep in our prayers as he is going into the hospital for surgery) Roy, Deborah, Rich, Bill, Wener, Kevin, Joe Maag, Susan, President Bob, Sec. Joanne. We had two guests, Arma E. Andon doing a makeup from Westhampton Club, & Marian Phillips his Friend for 72 years, and she is a Paul Harris recipient.

President Bob, canceled the club board meeting and rescheduled it for Oct 12th as many of the board members were absent from the meeting on Oct. 5th.

Another member paid there dues tonight leaving only 2 members who have not paid. I am sure they will bring it to the next meeting on the 12th of October.

Bill won the 50/50, but not the Ace of Spades, so the game continues. He got the Jack of Diamonds.

President Bob, is concerned about the lack of programs, So everybody get your thinking caps on and please come up with some programs-please lets us know Thursday night.

The Student of the Month will be here Thursday night so lets have a good turn out of members please.

Julie reported on Dale's recent tests and we were very happy to here the good news. We sure miss you Dale at the meetings. Hurry back soon and most important get well quick, you are a very valued member & friend.

Susan Bartels announced that she got 3 sponsors for her Autism swims. Deborah, Bob Dovale, & the Shirley Club. Good work Susan. She still needs many more sponsors. Hint, Hint.

I guess we are not going to see Muriel and Pete's new TV. Since there is not going to be a Subway series this year??

We also did the the Sergeants report.

President Bob passed around a clip board to sign up for working at the Spooky walk, please be prepared this week to fill in some times.

This Sunday I hope all the members will be at the Miniature golf between 1 & 4 PM on Oct. 15th at The Village Green, 974 Portion Rd, Lake Ronkonkoma. For info call Barbara Caldwell at 874-0151. Adults $15.00, children $10.00. Bring your families and friends -Lots of friends -- all will be welcome.

We were supposed to play our Foundation game but the winner of the week before didn't bring the gift. If we keep the game up each week we would have enough for a Paul Harris for someone. Hope the person will bring the gift this week and give it to me the Secretary.
