MORICHES ROTARY OF NY

The meeting was begun at 6:40 PM by President Steve with the pledge, song and prayer. The following members were present: Barbara, Newt, Cheryl, Deborah, Janice, Susan, Bill, Betsy, Bob Dovale, Jim, Tom, Julie, President Steve and Secretary Joanne. We also welcomed two guests Steve Fuoco from the Patchogue Rotary Club and Paul Haimes from the Westhampton Rotary.

Janice was at a P.T. A.meeting discussing Interact and Rotary. She found a lot of people didn't know what Camp Paquatuck was about or what Rotary is all about. She feels we should publicize ourselves a little more. For example our stuff a bus last Saturday we should have a big Rotary emblem present and also a banner across both sides of the bus so people know who is collecting food for the local pantries.

Tom told us some important info that the police told him. If you, God forbid have an accident or become ill the police will check your cell phone numbers to get a hold of relatives. So you need to put your contact people with these letters after their names I. C. E. which means In Case of Emergency in your cell phone address book. Good info Tom.

December 8th is the Parade of Lights for Center Moriches. Janice's Interact Club needs a live Xmas Tree for their float.

The 50/50 was won by Tom & Steve - they choose the 3 of Clubs.

We had the Sergeants report.

The Foundation raffle was won by Barbara.

There is no meeting Thursday night-Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to all members and their families---Enjoy.
