New Business:

 

• We ordered 50 turkeys to be delivered to the Methodist Church for Thanksgiving. They will be delivered on Tuesday.
• We have a new member! Laura Sguazzin Dunathan. Welcome.
• If you have not signed up for the children’s holiday party, please email Barbara. We need age, name and gender. Barbara’s email address is brcaldwell@aol.com
• The officer slate for the following year is: slate is as follows: President - Bob Dovale, President Elect - Bill LeMaire, Vice President - Barbara Caldwell, Treasurer - Peter Traina, and Secretary - Deborah Brown-Volkman
• We did the sergeants report, Foundation, and the 50/50. Sergeants-$208. 50/50-$25. (Patty won)  Foundation-$24.

 

Old Business: 

 

• Barbara gave out tickets for the holiday raffle. They are $5 a piece. She gave out 20 tickets to each member that was in attendance. Money goes to adopt a family for the holidays.
• Muriel reminded everyone that the holiday parties are at the camp.
• Muriel will be asking the Mastic Club to join us at our meeting.

·         If you have made up a meeting or attended another Rotary event, please let Deborah know so she can mark you as attending a meeting. 

Speaker & Topic:

·         We honored Werner, Steve & Joe for being a Rotarian for 30 years.

·         Some people have not even been married for 30 years, so this is an amazing feat!

·         We were sorry that Joe could not join us. Joe, we hope you feel better.

Upcoming Events for 2008:

 

·         District Governors homecoming is on December 3^rd at Polish Hall in Riverhead.

·         Stuff a Bus-December 6^th in the King Kullen shopping center in Center Moriches.

·         Holiday party for the Kids-Sunday, December 14^th 1pm to 4pm.

·         Holiday party for our members-Thursday, December 18^th.

·         There is no meeting on the 27^th for Thanksgiving.
