BRING A FRIEND TO ROTARY

The meeting was started at 6:30 PM by President Bob with a salute to the flag, song & prayer.  There were 16 members present: Bill, Deborah, Muriel, Newt, Bob Dovale, Julie, Betsy, Barbara, Peter, Roy, Susan, Werner, Steven, Cheryl, President Bob, Secretary Joanne.  We had two guests from the Westhampton Club, Bob & Nancy Knotoff & our Exchange Student, Melina Rodriguez Paniagua was also present.

The Christmas Party will be at Camp Paquatuck Dec. 21st.  Each adult will pay $25.00 & each child will be $10.00. Dinner will be catered by Tom's neighbor.  We need a count on how many children will be present and their names and ages so Lou can get the shopping done.  He has requested that we have this info by Thursday night or send him an E-mail ASAP .  His E-mail address is Idcpa@msn.com   He has only heard from two members Kevin & Newt. (PS President Bob, will get Twirly the Clown for that night.)  Bob will bring beer & soda and Newt will donate some wine and the other members should also bring some wine.  Julie will form a committee to decorate the camp for the Christmas Party.  Contact Julie if you can help.  Bob passed around a sign up sheet for a list of children's names & ages needed by Santa.

I received an E-mail from Newt requesting that we get busy selling our tickets for the toy & tool raffle.  The raffle date is December 14th.  I hope a lot of Rotarians will have money for Newt this Thursday night.  Thanks everyone.

Barbara requested that we adopt a family for Christmas, and we are going to do this.

Muriel will get the Hams, etc., for the Christmas baskets.  Thanks again Muriel. December 3rd. she headed some of the Rotarians taking the Exchange student to New York for a nice outing.

Muriel was also the Guest speaker for the evening and talked on Heath Care Proxies & Wills etc. It was very informative and very important info for all of us.
She also passed out paperwork on the New York State Proxy Laws etc. Thank you Muriel.

Werner won the 50/50 and choose the 7 of Spades. We had the sergeants report.

The Foundation raffle was won by Deborah.  Steven brought the prize a Paper Mate Pen and Pencil set.  Next week Deborah will bring the prize.

Next week we will have a report from the Nominating Committee for the regular club board & camp board vacancies.

We are also working on the Dictionary project and will decide which school will be given them, we are thinking it should be based on the community needs.  Dale will order the books as soon as the decision is made.

See you Thursday, at Sea Cove under new ownership.

Well, that all there is................Joanne
