The Meeting was brought to order at 6:38
PM by President Steve with the pledge, song and a prayer by Muriel.
The following members were present Roy, Barbara, Julie, Keith,
President Elect Muriel, Newt, Cheryl, Tom, Joe, Werner, Ralph, Bob
Dovale, Peter, Treasurer Rich, Secretary Joanne and President Steve.
The following guest were also present Paul Haimes from Westhampton
Rotary, and Helmut Albrecht, Peggy Albrecht.
We announced that there would be no meeting between Christmas & New Years as many of the members are away or entertaining family. Our next meeting will be January 3rd Thursday at Ladikins Restaurant.
Tom discussed the new signs which are two sided so they need to be mounted in such a way that both sides are visible. So that is being worked on.
Keith took care of the 50/50 and Rich won.
We also had the foundation and sergeants report.
Muriel will E mail Joanne with the address
or P.O. Box Number of the Center Moriches Methodist Church so she can
send a Thank you to the Reverend Prill and Members for the $170.00
they gave us toward the baskets of food our Club thorough Muriel and
Committee were able to assemble. Great job Muriel and Committee.
We want to do the Stuff a Bus a couple of
times a year and it was suggested maybe February for the next one with
the help of Eastport South Manor Interact club as the other one was
done with Center Moriches Interact .
At this meeting we had club Assembly and
many issues were discussed. It was a very good meeting.
January 11th is Squaw Appreciation night
and will take place at Ladikins. So our meeting will be on Friday
night instead of Thursday night.
Hope we all had a wonderful Holiday season
with family and friends and that you all had fun wrapping and
unwrapping the beautiful gifts.
Happy New Year to all and may it be a
healthy and happy year in 2008 for you and yours.
