New Business:

 

• We ordered 50 turkeys to be delivered to the Methodist Church for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, they were not delivered on time and they were frozen.
• If you have not signed up for the children’s holiday party, please email Barbara. We need age, name and gender. Barbara’s email address is brcaldwell@aol.com
• Do you want to meet at the camp in January? Please let Deborah know your thoughts at dbrown29@hotmail.com by Wednesday.
• The officer slate for the following year is: slate is as follows: President - Bob Dovale, President Elect - Bill LeMaire, Vice President - Barbara Caldwell, Treasurer - Peter Traina, and Secretary - Deborah Brown-Volkman. There were no other nominations or objections. This is the new officers for next year.
• Muriel closed the meeting and announced the people who are running for the camp board. Barbara, Newt, & Kevin. There were no other nominations or objections. They have been approved.
• Muriel spoke about George Solomon’s homecoming dinner. She said the event was wonderful and how grateful we are that George is a big fan of the camp.
• Julie reminded people that Parade of Lights is on Main Street on December 13^th at 6pm and the Center Moriches chamber holiday party is on Tuesday, December 9^th at La Vople.
• Julie will be the committee chair for new members.
• We did the sergeants report, Foundation, and the 50/50. Sergeants-$78. 50/50-$4. (Muriel won)  Foundation-$17.

 

Old Business: 

 

• Barbara gave out tickets for the holiday raffle. They are $5 a piece. She gave out 20 tickets to each member that was in attendance. Money goes to adopt a family for the holidays. MONEY MUST BE IN BY DECEMBER 11^TH.
• Muriel reminded everyone that the holiday parties are at the camp. The cost will be $25 as person. If you are coming, please email Deborah at dbrown29@hotmail.com by Wednesday.
• Muriel will be asking the Mastic Club to join us at our meeting.

·         If you have made up a meeting or attended another Rotary event, please let Deborah know so she can mark you as attending a meeting.

 

Topic:

·         We honored Joe for being a Rotarian for 30 years. We were sorry he missed the meeting before Thanksgiving.
