The Rotary meeting was begun at 6:38 PM at Paul's Restaurant with the pledge, song and a prayer by President Elect Muriel.  Present at the meeting was the following members: Roy, Tom, Ed, Kevin, Newt, Janice, Bill Le Marie, Dr. Sighn, Betsy, Barbara, Deborah, Peggy, Cheryl, Werner, Helmut, Secretary Joanne, Treasurer Rich, & President Elect Muriel. Our guests for the evening were: Maryann Santanocito, Dee Meyer (Ed Wesche), Patti Chieffo, Bill Graf, & Marie Homan, & From Westhampton Rotary Paul Haines.

  

We all enjoyed the dinner at Paul's, it was a nice change.

 

Next weeks meeting will be at Ladakins usual time. Next week  February 28th will be the merchant of the month Tom Jurgielewicz.

 

Dictionary distribution William Floyd School-Tangier-Smith Building Friday 29th,2008.

 

March 13th will be Students of the month for February and also Keith Romaine will be the Guest Speaker.

 

Merchant of the month for March 27th will be Dr. Steven Curtis.

 

The Spaghetti Dinner will be April 17th at Center Moriches School.

 

The Bowl-a-Rama date will change to the end of May.

 

Duck Barbecue will be Sept. 7th, 2008

 

Garry Nagle is recovering and is expected to be moved out of ICU as soon as a bed becomes available

The bad news is that Gary will not be able to work on the Newsletter.  Any stories sent to Garry will be forwarded by his daughter Eve to Ben Binkowski.  DG Dave requests that people forward Newsletter contents as follows: directly to Ben Binkowski at DGNews@optonline.net.

The Foundation Raffle was won by Joanne.

 

We didn't have the tickets to do the 50/50 so that will start back up next week.
