Thank you Bellport. Thanks guys for showing the film about the Camp it really is very affective tool everyone want to help our Camp Paquatuck after viewing it. Gwenn Ramarge mentioned that the Westhampton Rotary Club was having a Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday Feb. 10 and a group of our members and there significant others were going to meet there at 3 PM to support Westhampton Rotaries event. Deborah did the 50/50. Tom & Bill won. Bill did the Sergeants report. Saturday February 9, 2007 was Stuff a Bus at the King Kullen Shopping Center in Manorville. Our Club members and Interact Club from Eastport -South Mannor took 2 hour shifts. I was on the last shift with Bob Dovale, Newt, Bill, Steve, Peggy & Helmut,& Rich who brought Hot Chocolate & coffee and donuts. I was amazed at how generous the people were who were going shopping. Many, many of them came out of the store with more food for our church pantry then they bought for themselves. There was baby food, diapers, soups, canned veggies, pasta, sauce, gravy, rice, jelly, oat meal, snacks, mac & cheese, juices etc, The people really put a lot of thought into what they were purchasing. People are wonderful and generous. We really did very well for Saint Peter and Paul's pantry. They said the pantry had been empty. Our guest speaker for the evening was Gwenn Ramarge she talked about the District Conference which will take place April 10 to the 13, 2008 at the Gideon Putnam Resort and Spa in Saratoga Springs, NY. She brought some booklets with her which included an application for a reservation. I also had prepared some copies of the application. Thanks Gwenn for all the info.
