The meeting was begun at 6:35 PM by President Bob with a song, pledge, and prayer by Ed Wesche.  there were 18 members present as follows: Susan, Deborah, Barbara, Janice, Werner, Roy, Newt, Joe Maag, Betsy, Peter, Bob D.,Treasurer Ed Wesche, Tom, Muriel, Cheryl, Secretary Joanne, President Elect Steve, & President Bob Jr. We had one guest Dr. Devendra K. Singh a former member and past president of our Rotary Club. 

Bob Dovale is working on our up to date address & telephone Number list for the club.  He passed around a list for us to check our information.  So anyone who was not present should check with him at next weeks meeting.

Dr. Singh reason for being at our meeting was to become an active member in our club again.  We are very happy to have him return after an absents of 12 years.  Muriel invited him to come. 

The 50/50 was one by Peter who drew the 4 of diamond so the game continues.

Peter Trayna paid for an Autism swim and I believe it will be March 18th.  Bob & Mary Walker paid for a swim also, there are two more swims in April.  Soooooo Susan had a successful night at Rotary which was a wonderful gain for the kids involved.  Good going Susan.  Your doing a great job.

This Saturday night is the Bowl-a-rama at Shirley Bowl.  Everyone should be there about 6 PM as the games start at 7PM and we need to get the teams set up.  Also it will give you time for some practice and also time to buy some chances on the baskets that we assembled etc.  Peter mentioned that people would like to have desert at the bowling alley, so he volunteered to bring a sheet cake.  I promised to bring my chocolate cake. Anyone else who would like to bring a desert please do.

I spent today going to BJ's to buy candy and cookies for the baskets I have to assemble and then to T.J. Max for the baskets themselves.  So you know what I will be doing tomorrow.

Wednesday, March 21st. at 6PM will be dinner and theater for the seniors at the Eastport -Southmannor H. S. anyone able to go and help out please do so it would be appreciated.

The Commack Club donated $5000 to the camp and Nortport Rotary donated $ 6000.00. Tom reported, He also mentioned what a good job Bill Dalton is doing and we all agreed.

Dr. Singh will be reinstalled as a member this Thursday, March 22nd.  I wish I could be there but I will be at Camp Paquatuck from 4 PM till 9PM for Pets and Sets. (President Elect and incoming Secretaries.)  Deborah was kind and volunteered to write the Quill Thursday night.  Thank you Deborah.  Steven will also be at the Camp Thursday as he is incoming President. 

We had the Sergeants Report and the Foundation raffle.

Please don't forget Friday, March 30th is The Squaw Card party at the VFW at 6 PM to learn the game and 7 PM to play.  Call Irene for tickets 878-4591 or Jane Miller 909-2685.  It is really a fun night.

See you Saturday night at Shirley Bowl - lets have a good showing for President Bob -this is his baby.  $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for Kids.  Its a really nice family night.

Don't forget April 12th we will be at Paul's Rest. at 6:15 PM for our meeting and it is Spouse Night so bring your spouse or girl or boyfriend.  Should be a nice change.

Thursday it is Tavern on Main.
