The Meeting was begun at 6:40 PM by President Steve with the Pledge, Song and a Prayer by Muriel.  The following members were present Barbara, Muriel, Julie, Bob Dovale, Peter, Werner, Tom, Roy, Deborah, Susan, Dr. Sighn, Peggy, Cheryl, Ed, Newt, Helmot, Treasurer Rich, Secretary Joanne and President Steve.

The following guests were present Paul Haines from Westhampton Club & joining him was Gina & Tyna, aslo Dr. Beuhler,  Audiology, and our guest speaker Susan Wischhusen from the Shirley -Mastic Club & her husband. Jim Murphy made up at Riverhead's fund raiser last week.  Thanks Jim.

Bob Dovale spoke about our Spaghetti dinner  which took place April 15th . He told us it went very well.

We received a thank you note from Konrad Grossman President of Center Moriches Interact Club. He wanted to express his appreciation for sponsoring his trip to the Gideon Putnam Resort for the District Conference. He felt it was a very great experience and he was very glad he was able to attend.  He thanks us for our generous donation.  (Janice is doing a great job with her Interact Club.)

Our Guest Speaker for the evening was Susan Wischhusen of the Shirley -Mastic Rotary Club.  She showed us pictures of her trip to India and of giving the Polio vaccine to the little ones.  The Rotary magazine The Rotarian is running a contest to choose a photograph that best represents Service Above Self.  District Governor Dave thinks her picture of Didier Fosse, a French Pharmacist trying to coax a child to open wide and receive Life-saving drops of vaccine is the best.

You judge and vote on line, http://www.Rotary.Org/en/MediaAndNews/The Rotarian/Pages/PhotoVote.aspx. Lets show Suaan our support.  She was a very interesting guest and her photo's were beautiful. President Steve presented her with our club flag and a travel flash light inscribed Rotary Club guest Speaker.

The Green Pages is a fund raiser for the Commack/Kings Park Rotary Club.  Governor Dave is encouraging everyone to list themselves in the Green Pages. This directory is a vocational project and fund raiser of his own club. Its cost is $15.00.  The directory closes on June 1st. so get your subscription form in soon.  There's a link to the application form on the homepage of the District's web site.  www.rotary7260.org(on the left side, about half-way down, under "site Links").

Don't forget the District assembly at Camp Paquatuck on May 1st.

June 25th is the Installation  of the District Governor at Camp Paquatuck at that same meeting our Club will install their officers as well as Riverhead and Westhampton Clubs.  The dress code is casual.

The Bowl-a-rama is May 31.  Check in time is 6:30. There will be food, raffles and prizes and of course bowling.  We are sharing this event with Hampton Bays.  We are getting tickets printed up now.  Its $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for children. Please E mail Bob Walker and advise him how many people in your family will attend so he can let the bowling Allley know so we will have the right amount of food.  Bob's E-Mail address is as follows: RLW74@optonline.net

Deborah is going to be the next Secretary of Moriches Rotary and she wants us to pay our dues by June 15th.  Her and I will be getting together to make up the letter requesting the dues.

We had the 50/50, foundation raffle, and Sergeants report.

There will be a Club board meeting after the regular meeting next week.

See you next week at Ladakins.

That's all there is............................................................................Joanne
