The Foundation raffle was won by Cheryl who received the gift certificate for Panara Bread for Lunch or dinner.  So Cheryl brings the gift the next regular meeting.  Cheryl works in Riverhead so that certificate should work out pretty well.

We had a board meeting after the regular meeting and it was decide that little 5 year old boy Alex who has cancer will receive a check from our club for $1,000.00 toward his medical expenses which must be unbelievably high. Please pray for his recovery.  I sent an E-mail to the Past President of Bellport who filled us in on this info and advised him of our decision.

President Bob also received an E mail from a local family who son is autistic and they are in need of wheel chair which costs approx. $750.  He comes from a 281 # and is in either our area or the Mastic -Shirley Club area and it is being discussed to share the expenses with the other club.  President Bob will contact Mastic-Shirley and it will be discussed further.
