MORICHES ROTARY OF NY

The meeting began at 6:30 PM with the pledge, Song, and prayer by President Bob. There were 19 members present as follows: Newt, Deborah, Muriel, Lou, Barbara, Bob, Rich, Tom, Roy, Dr. Sighn, Werner, Janice, Garry, President Bob, Secretary Joanne, President Elect Steve, Treasurer Ed, Cheryl & Bill, The following guests were present, Maria Le Maire, Christopher, and the new addition to the family Baby Angelina.

The LeMaires very newly back from China, brought the baby by for all of us to meet and to fill us in on their trip to china to pick up their new adoptive daughter Angelina. She is every bit an angel. She is so beautiful quite a few teeth for her 11 1/2 months of age and such a beautiful smile. She won my heart. Their trip was very interesting including seeing and climbing the great wall of China. They visited the Orphanage were Angelina was found outside the door. It took them about 2 1/2 years to complete an adoption. Welcome to America Angelina and welcome home Bill, Maria and Christopher. Much happiness with your new addition.

Bob Dovale asked for the floor to bring us up to date on the Concert being held at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts theater on July 16th. Tickets for the Concert (Henry) a Billy Joel Perform alike. There will be a Play Bill with the pages being sold 1/2 page, page, Center Fold and back cover. The Camp will have an ad on the inside front cover. There will be some special seating. An after party with free orderves and Wine. Bob is working on getting some sponsors for some of our expenses. Nice job Bob.

Deborah will be the guest speaker at next weeks meeting. She has written another book ..................How to feel great at work every day. Looking forward to it Deborah.

The By-Laws with there corrections will be presented next week thanks to Muriel, Barbara and Marcella Weis.

The 50/50 was won by Deborah & Barbara they chose the 3 of Diamonds soooooooo the game goes on.

Rich did the Sergeants report and we played trivia again. It really was fun, Nice job Rich. We really enjoyed it.

Remember Melina will be here till July 18th. See Bob Dovale if you want to take Melina out.

We had the Foundation Raffle and Cheryl brought the prize.

Newt ask me to put in the Quill the following: Would anyone be interested in sponsoring the printing of the Duck Bar-b-que or small duck race ticks or both. See Newt at the next meeting if interested.

The District Governor's Installation Dinner is Tuesday, June 26th, 2007 at 6:30 PM tickets are $65.00 each It will take place at Camp Paquatuck. All clubs are invited to share its installation dinner with us as well. Time is 6:30 PM. It will take place under a tent by the lake at Camp Paquatuck.
