I will be giving out the dues letters at Rotary this Thursday night.  Hope as many as possible attends so I don't have to mail them. The dues are do to the district on July 1.

Newt read a letter the camp received praising the camp for its work with handicapped children especially her own child Vanessa who has been attending Camp for the past 8 or 9 years.  This mother said for the past 15 months she has been working with 2 coordination Agencies to get respite services for Vanessa. The child's health issues have escalated to the point where the mother life consists of working a full time job and working with Vannessa.  Her husband works two jobs and helps when he can too. Because of her health issues and tendency to wander, she has been denied services from every agency her Service Coordinators have applied too.  Our Camp is the only place where Vanessa has been welcomed.  Words cannot express how very much she appreciates and cherishes the two weeks each year Vannesa spends at the camp.

Its letters like this that keep us working even harder to raise funds for this camp to help keep the camp operating and to help get the improvements this camp needs to make it even better.  Thanks Newt.
