Topics of Discussion:

• Muriel made it a very special last night of her term as president. Muriel reviewed all the wonderful things that were accomplished.

• Muriel’s husband Pete was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow, Janice was named Rotarian of the Year, what an honor!  Muriel thanked everyone for their contribution to Moriches Rotary and support of the Camp and presented many gifts. 

• Roy has been ill. We are all so sorry to hear what happened and we wish you a speedy recovery. 

• Joe Maag has been made an honorary member of the Moriches Rotary.

• Bob’s installation dinner is this Thursday, June 25^th at the camp. $25 a person.  Spouses and families are invited.  PLEASE LET PETER KNOW IF YOU WILL BE COMING AND HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU ARE BRINGING. Email him at emorealtor@optonline.net

•  Interact will meet on the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of the month at 2:00 pm in the large group instruction room of Center Moriches High School during the 2009/2010 school year.  It would really be great if we old Rotarians could come and make a connection with the kids so that they may see how interact continues after high school. 

Old Business: 

• Dues are due past due.

• We will auction the items at the Fuoco Golf outing which is September 17^th. We should all be there to help out that day if possible. This year it would be helpful to let them know in advance who will be assisting so that they can have jobs ready for us. Thank you Steve for the idea for this year but we have to figure out where and when we will hold the auction next year and going forward.

 If you cannot get a speaker/program for your evening, you are the program. If you can’t do an evening, please let us know right away. Programs are 15 minutes long, and whoever you bring as your speaker/program, their dinner is on Rotary.

• Squaws card parties are November 6th, December 4^th  at the camp.  6:30pm to 10pm 

• Annual Duck Barbeque and Big Duck Race. Sept. 13th.

• Fuoco Memorial Golf Festival, September 17^th at the Bellport County Club.

• Octoberfest September 25^th, 26^th and 27^th at the camp.

• Spooky Walk. (4 nights) October 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th.
