Which means we were having fun.

My Thanks from the Club to Mary Anne (Rich) for all her hard work, everything really looked so nice. You went to a lot of trouble to make it so nice for the rest of us.   To Janice thank you for all your drawings etc.  also for manning the gate with your husband. Thanks to Tom, Rich, Janice & Mary Anne and anyone else who helped,  The wanted posters were great.  I took mine home and I assume many others did too. The music and dance lessons were fun for those who participated and also for those that just watched.

The Hot dog stand was a very nice touch and we all seemed to enjoy eating them. The food was good and was in keeping with the theme.   Pies, Pies and more pies all delicious (I made a chocolate cake and there were a couple other cakes one to pretty to cut but we did of course.

The business of the night was Steven being sworn in by Tom as new President. I am Secretary again, Rich became Treasurer, Muriel is President Elect. Good Luck to all, hope it will be a very successful year.

Bob Walker received a plaque for becoming Past President.  He was also pinned by his Mom with the Past Presidents pin that his father had worn.  Which was a little emotional for his Mom. Other awards were Attendance award pins given to Roy, Joanne and one yet to be pinned on Garry at the next meeting. Bob presented awards to Roy, Cheryl, Bob Dovale, Steve, Ed (if I left anyone out please forgive). He also presented his Secretary with Rotarian of the year award.  It included beautiful flowers and dinner in a new Restaurant.

I received a couple of more checks for members dues that night.  I hope the rest will follow this week as they have to be mailed out very soon.

See you next week at Tavern on Main.

That's all there is...................................................Joanne
