MORICHES ROTARY OF NY

The meeting was begun in the Main Dinning room of Tavern on Main with the pledge, prayer & song. Present at the meeting was the following members Muriel, Werner, Susan, Barbara, Newt, Deborah, Bob Walker, Cheryl, Dr. Sighn, Kevin Spellman, President Steve, Secretary Joanne, & Treasurer Rich.

The Carnival will be held in the front field next to the Historical society. We will be needing help all four nights as there are days when either Rich S. or Tom will not be there and Bob Dovale will be away. The dates are August 16th, 17th, 18th & 19th.

President Steve announced that he would like to hold a joint meeting with the Hampton Bays Club during the winter.

The Duck Bar-ba-cue will take place Sept. 9th . Kevin is in charge. We were given Barbecue tickets, and duck race tickets etc. Anyone who has not received them, see or call Kevin. Kevin mentioned the need for an early morning crew that day as there are trucks to be unloaded etc. Help, Help. The Health Dept. will be inspecting up at the camp during the Barbecue especially the clams. We are also in need for a couple of coffee pots for the barbecue. I believe Barbara volunteered to check out the prices.

August 23rd. Will be our the next Bar-BA-cue for the campers at the camp, and again Barbara will provide the ice cream with a silent partner.

Steve remember to pick up a deck of cards for the 50/50 game so the game can go on.......................

The Sergeants report was done with the help of Sergeant Bob Walker.

The Foundation report was won by Steve Kronman, Steve Kronman, Steve Kronman , ah I guess all the single dollars had his name on them. I really hope we don't have to do a rain dance for the Duck Barbecue.

We had the Foundation and the 50/50.

The Board meeting was postponed.

Ralph Amitrano owner of GH Provisions, Inc. in Speonk is proposed for membership for the Third time.

Those who have not paid there dues-this week please.
