MORICHES ROTARY OF NY

We were at the camp again. To feed the campers and staff. A very full house we had, I believe there were approx. 56 Campers Plus staff and the Squaws joined us.

Our barbecue at the camp the other night went very well and the food was very good, Hamburgers, Kabassi, Chicken, salad, mac & cheese, Potato salad, Dunkin Donuts provided by Peter - who was also flipping Hamburgers etc. The Squaws provided some very nice deserts and of course Barbara brought the Ice Cream truck again which everyone enjoyed. Present at this event was the following Betsy, Roy, Rich, Barbara, Cheryl, Bob Dovale, Susan, Deborah, Peter, Jim Murphy, Julie, Tom, Patty, Ryan & Naomi, Newt & Marie, Werner, Muriel, Joanne.

Bob Dovale is looking for Students who would like to become outbound Rotary students. Our new exchange student is now here in America. Her name is Maria. I am sure she will be at one of our meetings very soon.

Newt wants us to bring ticket money and Duck dinner money to our next meeting. Newt suggested selling outside the 7-11 in Westhampton Beach as Rich would permit us to be there between 7 & 9 AM. Also Riverhead Rotary would be another place to attend. They have a lunch meeting. Brian Stark is the President and his # is 727-3760 or his home is 722-4636.

Kevin needs 6 people to be at the camp at 6:00 AM to unload the Jergelwicz truck. Maybe, This Thursday night you can make yourself know if you are able to be there at 6:00 AM-very important job. Whatever job you did last year-please take that position again this year. New members be there and receive a job to do for the day. There is more work done between 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM then 9-12 Noon.

Thursday, Sept. 6th our meeting night at the camp - will be set up night. Table, Chairs, etc.

This Thursday, August 30th we will be at Tavern on Main.
