·         We did the sergeants report, Foundation, and the 50/50. Sergeants-$81. 50/50-$40. (Barbara won)  Foundation-$15. (Kevin won-Tom needs to bring the gift next week for following week’s win.)

·      If you have made up a meeting or attended another Rotary event, please let Deborah know so she can mark you as attending a meeting.

·      Board meetings will be the 4th Thursday of each month.

Speaker & Topic:

·       Update on the Duck BBQ: Our Duck Barbeque was a great success and Muriel thanked the club. Everyone pitched in to help and the other clubs stepped up to help the day be as great as it was.

  • JC’s cannot accommodate us for the September 25th meeting so we discussed and agreed to meet at the Trolley Barn in Speonk.
  • Update from Bob Dovale on future guest speakers. He has one guest for October talking about the Youth Exchange Student. The district needs more outbound students. That night Bob will set up a camera and we will say hello to Milana via the web. Date is October 9th. Last week of the month in September (the 25th) is Student of the Month. We also will be doing Merchant of the Month that night.
  • Interact update from Janice about the success of first meeting. She had 115 students sign up.
  • Stuff-a-bus is on October 3rd. We need people to work 3 shifts, 9am to 11am, 11am to 1pm, and 1pm to 3pm.
  • We will review the budget the first week of October.
