2010 Events:

Stuff-A-Bus. NON-PERISHABLE Food Drive. February 27th, March 6th, April 10th, May 8th and June 5th from 9am to 3pm. Rain or Shine. Non-perishable foods drive for those who are in need in the community. Donations will go directly into local charitable organizations. Items needed include cans, boxes, and toiletries. Yellow school bus donated by Adelwerth Bus Company.

Annual Auction. Saturday, March 13th at Rock Hill Country Club from 6pm to 10pm. Open Bar and Food. Billy Joel Tribute Band playing through the evening too. Donations welcome. Money raised goes to benefit Camp Pa Qua Tuck. For more information, contact Bob Dovale at rjd30@optonline.net or 878-5988.

Easter Egg Hunt, Palm Sunday, March 28th from 1pm to 3pm at Camp Pa Qua Tuck. This is a family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children up to 6^th grade may join in the festivities. No charge. FOR ADDITIONAL INFO CALL 878-1070.

Spaghetti Dinner, Thursday, April 15th. Center Moriches High School. Event is from 4 pm thru 8 pm. The annual spaghetti fundraiser is held to support the efforts of the Moriches Rotary Club to run Camp Pa Qua Tuck, a non-profit camp, whose motto is “Summer Is For Everyone.” Delicious spaghetti and meatballs-all for a good cause. Placemat ads are for sale @ $75.00 each. Table sponsors are $200.00. We will also raffle off baskets of cheer and baskets of toys. $10 Adults, $5 Children. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event or from any Moriches Club Rotary member. Member names can be found by Clicking Here.

Annual Duck Barbeque and Big Duck Race. Sept. 12th. Fundraiser for Camp Pa Qua Tuck, Center Moriches. Music, food, hay rides, bouncy rides, clowns, cake walk, straw auction, and gift baskets. Two exciting duck races beginning at 3pm on Kalers Pond. $10,000 first prize-big duck race, $3,000 2nd prize & $2,000 3rd prize if all 350 big duck tickets are sold. Monetary prizes for the small duck race too. Delicious duck is served from 2pm to 5:30pm. Gates open at 1pm.

$10 to get in, $5 for children. $25 if you want a duck dinner. ($30 for Duck Dinners at the door.) Tickets can be purchased on-site, from any Rotary member, or by calling the camp at 631-878-1070. You can also purchase tickets on-site the day of the barbeque.

OctoberFest. September 24th, 25th & 26th at Camp Pa Qua Tuck, Chet Swezey Road, Center Moriches. Proceeds go to benefit Camp Pa Qua Tuck for handicapped children. Spooky Walk. (4 nights) October 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd at Camp Pa Qua Tuck, Sponsored by the Pa Qua Tuck Squaws. Chet Swezey Road, Center Moriches. Proceeds go to benefit Camp Pa Qua Tuck for handicapped children. Safe fun filled for the whole family. See the Dead Wedding, Frankenstein's Lab, the Jaunted Woods, the Mummy Tomb, Lost Pirates, and the Food Tent. Arrive anytime between 7pm and 9pm. Directions: Exit 69 LIE or Exit 59 Sunrise Highway to Wading River Road. Take Wading River Road South to end. Make right at 2nd light (Main Street.) Go left to camp. Free shuttle bus transportation available from King Kullen (shopping center) in Center Moriches.

Moriches Rotary Annual Holiday Raffle, Saturday, December 9th. Win a Wintendo Wii. Tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased at the following locations in Center Moriches: 711, Shining Star Bakery, Center Moriches Cleaners, Moriches Bagel Deli, or from any Rotary member. You do not need to be present to win. Proceeds go to local families in need.
